Welcome! to Wega Fm -Kithima kia Umenyo

Wega FM 88.6 is radio station owned by the catholic diocese of Meru. It is situated in Meru County, at the Diocese of Meru headquarters, on Eastern slopes of Mount Kenya. It covers 100 km radius, which includes two counties namely, Meru County and Tharaka-Nithi County. Wega FM was founded in October 2015 but remained as an extension of radio Waumini, Nairobi until March 2018. On 1st April 2018, Wega FM began broadcasting as an independent radio station. The broadcast language is Kiswahili and Kimeru (local dialect of Ameru).
